You aren't in control of the game, but you are 100% in control of what you make. Go, Innovate, Create, push the limits of everything. People still find a way, and that, I say, is better than having things handed out to you because you keep selfishly demanding things. They use thrusters, helicopter engines, and wheels, and other ideas for making ships. They work fine, yes, but do remember that this is a game for ground vehicles, not anything else originally. Even now, the plane physics are not perfect. People still found new ways to create things, and pushed for better plane physics. The game was originally meant for cars and trucks. Do remember that the game is "Brick RIGS. You can't just put a option for everything. And the whole "just make it a option loool" doesn't really work. Too many interactions for a computer to run. But once you go into the average 200-1000+ bricks per vehicle on the workshop, you will run into many many problems. ![]() This will work wonderfully with a, say 50 brick vehicle. Sure, it's not impossible to create water in UE4, but it has to interact with all the bricks. ![]() "it will destroy the concept of Brick Rigs" No. Originally posted by Gadgetgirl125 Merry Christmas:I find it funny that people often literally demand water. ![]() I find it funny that people often literally demand water. The Brick Rigs doesn't needs the "extremely detailed and very cool" water you all are talking about it just needs a WaterTexture(you can find it anywhere), 1 Cycled Animation for Water, WaterMesh, SplashTexture(maybe more than 1), SplashScript, WaterScript(Includes Drowning to death if not in God Mode Light Bricks go up, Heavy Bricks go down, Fire extinguishes, Propellers work like on the Land but slower, Tires/Wheels barely work, (maybe also engine will get stalled if its not sealed correctly)), WaterIdleSound, WaterSplashSound.Yes thats A LOT OF work for 1 Person, but most of this you can get for free on the Internet(Water sounds, water textures, etc), hell you can even watch tutorials on how to make Water on UE4, or even buy already working water, oh and dont forget to make it work in the multiplayer (+1 SynchronizationScript). Not adding water will destroy the concept of brick rigs(building VEHICLES out of Legos), water being too much even for high end PC's is bullsheet unless someone REALLY wanted to make EXTEREMYL DETAILED water, in Brick Rigs you can just make everything in water have different gravity, add some splash models and make it kill you after some time if not in god mode, its not hard to make a not PROCEDRUALY GENERATED(a.k.a. It's jus not possible with the current generation of hardware and software. ![]() Originally posted by nothing_cool:The water under Desert only interacts with the player, not any bricks.Įven high end machines won't be able to run full water physics.
